January obsessions

And what I'm ditching.
Ahhh January, my least favourite month. Cold, miserable and so, so long. So, to celebrate this horrendous month coming to an end here are some things I have enjoyed, as well as what I'm leaving in the worst month of the year.
First things first, decluttering is top of my list. I have had a start of the year wardrobe clear out and let me tell you I feel SO much better. Clearing your space leaves you, in my opinion, less overwhelmed, more zen and honestly more organised, and who wouldn't want that.
Next, is coffee. Yes, basic I know. But this month I have tried it new ways, from making oat milk coffee at home (still not as good as costa), to trying out my mother in laws fancy expensive coffee machine (also, not as good as costa). This obsession will continue into next month, as will my journey to make the perfect at home oat milk latte.
A couple of wellness and beauty bits I have fell in love with this month include, cream bronzer, which has changed my life and made my makeup so much quicker, and tongue scraping. Yes, I was influenced, yes it works, no I will not elaborate.
And, to finalise my list, TikTok has to make an appearance. I absolutely love making silly little videos about my life and living out my influencer fantasy (for my not very many followers), and will continue to do it for the foreseeable. (@jessieperkinss- shameless plug)
Now, onto the outs. Some things I have simply had enough of and will be leaving in January. Number one, not replying to emails straight away. I have apparently picked up this habit and it needs to stop. It leaves me behind on work, confused and a lot of the time I open and forget about them altogether.
Going to bed after 10:30pm is out as well. I simply cannot hack late nights and need as much sleep as a new born baby, or I look like Edward Cullen has spent the night at Fight Club. (because my bags are so bad they look like black eyes, duh)
Last on my list, staying in my joggers or PJs all day. I go back to uni next month so this should be easier, but the cold days and my new cosy dressing gown have made this a challenge this month.
And that's it, come back in Feb for my updated list :)
